Admissions

Admission Notice

Nursery I, Nursery II and Transition

A child’s minimum age for admission to kindergarten I, nursery II and the transition is 3 +, 4 +, and 5 + respectively.

The general public is informed about the start of the admission process through advertisement/notification in the newspapers/school notice board/school website.

Nursery I & II registration forms are sold online via the School website for a stipulated amount during the months of June / July for a period of around 10 days. Transition registration forms are sold online during the month of January via the school website. The school lists applicants for contact with the Principal according to its own requirements and parents of these short-listed children would be expected to come to the school along with their wards.

Classes I – V

Depending on the vacancies, a notice is put up for admission from Class I to Class V in the month of December. Registration Forms in the month of January are sold online.

Once the registration forms have been received, computer-generated random selection is made for the available seats.

Class VI Onwards

School pupils join South Point High School from Class VI and continue until Class X. However, admission to Class XI is merit-only. The school is unable to admit all its students to higher secondary classes due to limitations. So an important condition of admission to South Point School is that it carries no guarantee that a pupil will automatically get a seat for the two-year Higher Secondary Course at South Point High School after passing the Secondary Examination.

When a pupil is to be removed from the school, a two-month notice must be issued.

Classes VI-VIII

Classes VI to VIII admission tests is also held, only if there are vacancies. Required report card and original transfer certificate from the previous school in the original.

Class XI

All students who clear the South Point High School Secondary Examination / Madhyamik Pariksha may not automatically be enrolled in Class XI as seats in the Plus-Two section are limited.

South Point School is organizing an orientation program for Nursery children’s parents. Via it, parents find answers to questions about shoes, tiffin, hours, studies, games, and all that a little beginner experiences every day.
